Here I’m checking on some of our released coveys of partridge. This is where we practice a different aspect of my training method. What I call “Fair Chase” training. Birds are banded, free released and given plenty of time to run and form coveys before we work any dogs on them. After training and shooting a few birds, more are released to rebuild the coveys. This creates the most wild acting birds. Great for training and establishing wild coveys for future hunting.
