Hi Brad and all members. I saw an “unwanted association” the other night while watching the “Virginian”, a cowboy movie. I immediately thought of you Brad and how you warn us about over doing something where you can get an unwanted association. On the show they had a stallion that they wanted to race but was gun-shy and terrified of the starter’s pistol. So what they showed was days of training where the rider would give the horse a carrot every time someone shot a pistol. The association the horse soon learned was to look back at the rider and receive it’s reward, a carrot every time it heard a gun shot. Guess what happened when the starter shot his pistol to start the race?
Hope everyone has a great summer!
